i think demps is great. the music great and also the talent in the bar you cant get no better than the two brothers jay an steven you should go an check them out you won't be disappointed. the drink is cheap an every-one is really friendly so you can't get any better than club kia it's the place to go.

Dempsey's is a particularly malevolent watering-hole with a hostile atmosphere you could cut with a knife - a metaphor which is particularly apt for dempsey's since getting cut with a knife is not a complete impossibility if you go there. This bar is the epitome of all that is negative about town on a friday or saturday night. Also a complete waste of police time and resources.

i was refused entry one night as i was wearing dm shoes; i pointed out to the bouncers that each of them was also shod with dr marten's finest - to no avail of course. on the other (very rare) occasions i have got in, i always wished i had bought that second-hand kevlar suit from ebay after all. one of the few bars in the world where the hairs on the back of my neck stand up - it's a jungle in there!! if you're going, bring your mates (all of them)! and the women are ugly trouts.

I think its a good spot on a sat nite. Downstairs theres a lot of older people and upstairs theres a younger crowd so theres something for everyone.

ive been going here 4 about 6 yrs and i think its the best place to go on sat nights can b alot of fighting but the bouncers do sort it out quickly . the only thing i think is the prices of the drink (were all not made of money...lol)
