The Advocate, previously called Rumpoles is found between Belfast City Center and the Hilton/Courts area. Nice spot for a quick one before going to see the old Chocolate Fudge.
Should become more popular as the new Victoria Square shopping centre opens.

Great food, great drink and great staff! The only thing that can detract from the experience is the resident QC proping up the Bar and telling anyone who will listen that "Isn't it fantastic, I'm as drunk as a lord!"... the phrase sober as a judge springs to mind...
I went to the advocate last friday, was suppose to be going out for a couple of drinks, when i arrived food was still being served and to say the least it looked good and i was sold. Had a beautiful meal and my friends shared the nibbles selection. We skipped dessert though and worked our way through the cocktail list which definately did the job cos the head was heavy the next day. Really enjoyed the evenings entertainment (live band & a dj). We will be back.
